Mischenko A. Adaptation of anglicisms to the contem-porary German language system (using anglocisms of computer and technology fields)

The dissertation is devoted to a complex investigation of structural and semantic adaptation of determinologised anglicisms borrowed to the system of the general German language. Ways of enriching the general German language via borrowing computer technology anglicisms have been traced. A generalized structural and semantic model for the analysis of lexical units has been proposed and classification of the corpus of anglicisms has been made using this model. As a result of this research peculiarities of phonographic, morphological and semantic adaptation of computer technology anglicisms to the system of the general German language have been pointed out, the dynamics of the semantic structure of computer technology anglicisms caused by their stylistic transposition in the general German language have been revealed, and methods of nomination of innovations in the field of computer technology in English and German have been analysed. Orthographic peculiarities of anglicisms have been studied in the conditions of distant communication.
