The dissertation is devoted to working out modern theoretical aspects and practical developments of adaptation of enterprises to the external environment. The factors of external environment are given in details, that affect adaptation of enterprises of meat industry. With economic-mathematical methods directions of development of meat industry are exposed on the basis of which an organizational-economic mechanism for overcoming weak sides of enterprises and the branch in general is developed, the method of its estimation is worked out .
