Essay

The thesis is directed on development and improvement of the methodology for determination the torsional rigidity of ferro-concrete elements with normal cracks with the purpose of revision internal efforts in elements of statically uncertain systems of the overlapping. The engineering techniques for determination of rigidity and durability of an element with normal cracks at torsion are proposed. Reliability of the data, received on the proposed numerical-analytical method, is confirmed by the data of numerical researches with use the Finite Element Method (FEM).This has allowed to create the computer program for definition the parameters of rigidity and durability of ferro-concrete elements with normal cracks. The influence the height of the compressed zone and diameter of the longitudinal fixture on character of the functioning, deforming and destruction of ferro-concrete samples with artificial normal cracks, that are exposed to torsion, is investigated.
