Belousova N. Concept of national security in the political culture of society

The dissertation focuses on the theoretical and methodological features of national security concept in the political culture of society. The dissertation is based on a wide range of theoretical and methodological studies of the scientific problem. The dissertation summarizes theoretical approaches of Ukrainian and foreign researchers to the notions of "political culture", "national security", "political security". The specifics of European strategies of national security and political culture on the example of France, Germany and Great Britain is studied. The features of national security of Russian Federation as a factor of political activity of society are defined. The particular attention is paid to the national security concept of Ukraine. The problem of mutual influence of national security and political culture in Ukrainian society is analyzed. It is shown that the national security problems in Ukraine are caused by the lack of political ideals on national interests and consensus on national system of values among political elite as well as among ordinary citizens.
