Essay

The object is the modern German journalistic argumentative discourse. The aim of the research is the exposing of pragmatic peculiarities in the modern German journalistic argumentative discourse. Methods: functional, context-situational, pragmatically analysis, semantic analysis, stylistic analysis. Scientific novelty: the pragmatic peculiarities of the modern German journalistic argumentative discourse on the material of journalistic economic texts are set and analyzed; the discursive and text features of journalistic texts are set, their generalized model is created; the main arguments in the German journalistic discourse and their pragmatic features are determined; the most widespread tactics and the specific of their linguistic realization are discovered. Theoretical value: the research results are the contribution to the theory of argumentation, theory of discourse, the linguistics of text, the functional stylistics, and pragmatics. Practical value: materials can be used in the courses of the functional stylistics of the German language (a section "Stylistics of the text"), theoretical grammar (sections of "Pragmatics of discourse" "Theory of speech acts"), in the special courses from the theory of discourse, practice of the German language and business German language.
