Essay

Stability of foundations located in the proximity of a slope on a natural or artificial base. To develop the method that allows calculating analytically the stability of a building located near a slope or under the conditions of compact urban development, to select the efficient correlation of the reinforced bed's parameters; to define the minimal distance between a designed building and a slope edge, and between an existent building and a crest of slope of an excavation. Experiment planning method, finite element method, experimental simulation in a trough. Defining the stability of a foundation located in the proximity of a slope without necessity to build-up graphically the slide faces. Reached was the possibility to define the minimal distance between a slope edge and a designed building, and between an existent building and an excavation edge. Reached was the possibility to define the efficient parameters of a reinforced bed. Reached was the complex solution for the problem of stability calculation for a foundation located on a natural or artificial base, with the possibility to define the efficient parameters of a reinforced bed. The regression equations were obtained that exclude the necessity to build-up graphically the slide face at calculation of the building stability located near a slope. Experimentally defined was the level of effect of the strength and the number of reinforcing layers onto the foundation stability.
