The isothermal cross-sections of the phase diagrams of the systems Sr-{Ni,Cu}-In in the range 0-50 at.% Sr at 670 K were constructed based on X-ray phase, X-ray structure and local X-ray spectral analyses. The isothermal cross-section of the phase diagram of the Ca-Ni-In at 670 K was revised. 27 new ternary compounds have been synthesized for the first time and the existence of 13 already known compounds was confirmed in these and related systems. The crystal structures of 35 compounds were determined; (for 25 of them by X-ray single crystal method). Four compounds represent new structure types: SrNi8In5, SrCu7In6, Ca3Au3In and SrAu3In3. The temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibility and magnetization curves studies showed that EuNi7+xIn6-x compound is a ferromagnet; and the temperature dependence of electrical resistivity indicated metallic type of conductivity. Magnetic properties of EuAu3In3 are typical for a paramagnet, however the specific heat studies reveal fingerprints of the magnetic ordering below T = 3 K. The collected M?ssbauer spectra for EuAu3In3 proved the presence of Eu2+ ions. CaNiIn2 compound is a weak Pauli paramagnet, whereas diamagnetism is typical for Ca2Pd2In and Ca2Pt2In compounds.
