Essay

Object: modes of axially symmetrical corrugated waveguides partially filled with dielectric, and of longitudinal slot antennas of circular cross-section. Purpose: developing of mathematical models and computing methods which increase the efficiency and accuracy when calculating wide range of multiunit antennas and waveguides and also based on them accelerators, which are used in technology. Methods of testing: numerical, mathematical modeling, radio engineering and electronics, mathematical physics, integral equations, theories of operators in function spaces, computer algorithms developing methods. Results, novelty: for the first time are built mathematical models of scattering TE- and TM-waves and radiation of TM-waves with cylindrical surfaces having several longitudinal slots of random sizes and order on the basis of a hypersingular or singular integral equation; for the first time are built mathematical models for axially symmetrical waveguides which have a finite number of corrugations and nipples with the interior filled by dielectric, for the cases of TE- and TM-waves, methods are developed for calculating the technical characteristics of partially filled axially symmetrical waveguides which have a finite number of extensions, and calculating waves, scattered and radiated by a cylindrical surface; the discrete singularity method was further developed. The results are introduced into the learning process. Sphere of application: education, mechanical engineering.
