Evstafieva Y. Use of forage's nutrients by the young cattle under rhi-notracheitis.

Dissertation deals with the study of the use of energy, nutrients and mineral matters from forages by the youngsters of the Ukrainian black-speckled dairy breed, in-fected by rhinotracheitis, on optimized on vitamin and mineral composition of rations. It was established that animals, infected by infectious herpesvirus rhinotracheitis, con-sume more dry matter on 100 kg of live weight, but digest worse an organic matter and his constituents. In particular, heifers and bull-calves lose more energy with a heat 20,0 and 31,3% accordingly as compared to conditionally healthy, as a result it is reserved energy in the liveweight gain on 38,5 and 39,8% less. As a result of the researches the optimum amount of additive of "Lutamiks VRH C Eks" of production of the "West-ukrainian agrarian company" LTD in combination with the complex of vitamins and selenium, necessary in the rations of animals, infected by infectious rhinotracheitis, is set. Use of rations, enriched this additive, forward the increase of deposit of energy in the liveweight gain on 23,9% as compared with the use of typical region rations; as a result the average daily of the liveweight gain increase on 18,2%.
