Essay

The thesis is devoted to the political analysis of conceptual and applied aspects of the state branding of Ukraine, comparative analysis of a state branding practices of the USA, Great Britain, Japan, the Republic of Estonia, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus for distribution of national political culture's values and finding out the priorities of the state branding of Ukraine. The work is based on a theoretical and methodological researches of a scientific problem, generalization of views and approaches of foreign and Ukrainian experts; proving the usage of a state branding as a constituent of state's political culture and as an instrument of realization of its foreign and domestic policy. In the thesis definitions of such notions as "state brand", "state image", "state icon" and "state branding" are given, highlighted the peculiarities of modern foreign-policy communicative technologies' usage in political functioning of state. The dissertation contains the results of research of political-institutional ensuring of political activity of Ukraine in the conditions of state-creating changes, and also recommendations as for perfection of instruments of political culture of Ukraine.
