Essay

The structural-phenomenological model that describes the deformation and failure processes of multilayered composites in a state of plane stress are developed. Rest upon the model a method of predicting load carrying capacity for symmetrical laminates under a plane loading at wide temperature range was developed. The method for experimental determination of thermal expansion coefficient of solid body was developed. The Young's and shear moduli, Poisson's ratio and strengths characteristics of the unidirectional CFRP at two temperatures 77 and 293 K was experimentally found, also was defined its own CTEs at temperature range 77…293 K.
