Essay

The thesis deals with the deep and system research of the education idea in the classical antiquity and its concrete theoretical substantiation in the philosophical works of antique philosophers. The beginning, the formation and the ancient philosophy rise is investigated. The realisation within the bounds of the classical antiquity almost one of the most significant humanistic ideas of the human civilisation - the idea of the person harmonic development which combined both physical and spiritual perfection of a human person by its education is shown in the research. The basic significant features and the specificity of educational models which were generated in Athens and Sparta are analysed. It is proved, that the first attempts of the entire theoretical substantiation of education and training problems in Hellas are connected with Platon and Aristotle's names, that has led to their practical creation of the concrete original educational systems which have underlain the world pedagogics.
