The paper found scientific justification for the theoretical position and practical recommendations to improve public sector management in the development of market system in Ukraine. Analyzed the transformation of the public sector of national economy and developed criteria for improving its structure. Identify the features of systems, developed a set of measures to improve public sector management mechanism based on the organizational and legal forms. Depth evaluation of the efficiency theory of public sector management by identifying approaches and the development of indicators for comprehensive diagnosis. During the research portion of vacant public sector, which contributes to the development of national economy reasonably control strategy and future directions of its development.
