The thesis is devoted to the issues of developing investment processes in agribusinesses. It identifies the essence of investment processes, considers ways of government regulation of such processes, and determines specific methods for evaluating the efficiency of the investment activity in agribusinesses. The work also monitors the current state of the investment activity in the Kherson region, determines sources and directions of investment financing, makes an analysis of the investment activity in agribusinesses. On the basis of the model developed, the effect of such factors as investment in equipment and construction work, fixed capital expenditures on labor productivity and returns on assets is examined. Priority kinds of agricultural production for investment in the Kherson region are specified with the use of standardized indices reflecting the performance of agricultural producers.
