The thesis is dedicated to the integrated investigation of theoretical and practical problems as to omnitude, completeness and objectivity of investigator's procedural activity, improvement of its legal regulation and practice of application. On the basis of the analysis of the effective procedural criminal legislation of Ukraine, the draft Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, international documents regarding the procedure for legal proceedings, resolutions of the European Court of Human Rights, legislation of other countries, judicial statistics, results of questionnaire poll of practical employees and scientific works, theoretical provisions have been substantiated and practical recommendations have been set forth and aimed at the improvement of omnitude, completeness and objectivity of investigators' procedural activity. Proposals have been made to improve the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
