Dissertation is devoted to research of electromagnetic, thermophysical and hydrodynamic processes during vertical passing of steel sheet with high speed through zinc fusion in crucible without a bottom by the partial electromagnetic levitation of liquid metal. The obtained regularities were used for development of the specialized electromagnetic device for Hot Dip zinc Galvanizing with the purpose of providing of reduction of contact time of steel sheet with liquid zinc, deleting of sheet feeding iron-containing equipment from Galvanizing bath, improvement of quality of coating and diminishing of expense of energy on maintenance of coating metal in the high temperature state. It is set that the use of EM device allows to reduce the expense of electric power on maintenance of coating fusion in the high temperature mode in 1,5-3 times and improves properties of coating: a fragile intermetallic layer decreases from 68-69% in traditional device to 35-40% in new EM device. Practical application of the developed device allows to decrease capital costs and to reduce running expenses from 25-30% to 17-21% from the cost of sheet.
