Svitovy O. The economic mechanism of farming production expenses in crop production

Object of research: the process of forming production expenses in crop production and agricultural enterprises of various organizational and legal forms and individual farms. Aim of research: studying the problem of minimizing the production expenses and of the rational use of resources under the conditions of market relations; determining the ways of reducing the cost of agricultural produce and increasing its competitiveness. Methods: economic and statistical, monographic, linear programming, economic experiment, economic and mathematical, calculation and construction. Theoretical and practical results: the theoretical results lie in enriching the science with new theoretical and methodological approaches to solving the problems of minimizing production expenses and rational use of resources under the conditions of market relations. The practical importance of the results obtained is determined by the totality of developed recommendation and suggestions related to operative and strategic tasks of the rational use of resources and the reduction of the crop production cost. Scientific novelty: the author is the first to suggest a methodological approach to determining and studying the production expenses in crop production which is based on the integrated assessment of the effects of the Basic group of factors and the dynamic system of analysis and control of expenses. The author also improved: the interpretation of the concept of "the economic mechanism of forming production expenses", the classification of factors related to the formation of production expenses in crop production, the system of planning and accounting production expenses on the basis of specialized computer programs. Further developed were: the methodical approach to the production expenses rate-setting in crop production, the substantiation of the ways of improving the production potentials of the crop production branch. Degree of introduction: the research results are used by the bodies of state power of Cherkasy oblast in the process of providing for the minimization of production expenses and rational use of resources at agricultural enterprises. They can be also used in the educational process at Uman State Agrarial University fjr teachsng scparate subgects. Efficiency: the research results make it possible to substantiate the choice of directions and ways of reducing the agricultural produce cost and of increasing its competitiveness for agrarian formation under market condition.
