Essay

In this work analisys of infant functional constipation reasons was made. The main predicting conditions of forming and clinical course of infant functional constipation were pathologic gestation (75,5%) and delivery (72,2%), late breast-feeding (20%). Big part of patients (54,4%) had parents who suffered from gastrointestinal diseases, that could indicate genetic propensity in pathogenesis of the disease. Determined risk factors allowed development of mathematical model of infant functional constipation development prediction by method of discrimination analisys. It was established, that infant functional constipation dieseas progression were accompanied by mucosal barrier disturbance in coprofiltrates, that were evident by reduction sulfoglycoids and sulfur glycprotein levels and indicate potential low mucus stability against aggressive intestinal factors. The rate of protein denaturation in coprofiltrates in infants with functional constipation detect range of structural disturbances of intestinal epithelial cells. This can be used as one of the non-invasive methods determination of bowel functional condition. Impotant role of behavioral reaction in desease pathogenesis was determined. Particularities of temperament in infants suffered from functional constipation were identified. This allows to develop differentiated schemes of treatment due to including method of behavioral correction on the hospital and after-hospital reabilitations courses. Inclusion in therapy of infant functional constipation the functional nutrition with pre- and probiotics causes regression of clinical symptoms of deasese and positive influence on the condition of intestinal mucosal barrier.
