Essay

Object of research: solids and structures with spatial modulation of order parameters. The aim: description of peculiarities of critical behavior in solids with multicritical and Lifshitz points. Methods: renormgroup methods, group analysis, variational principle. Results: For the first time the critical behavior of the systems supposing a critical point, possessing a joint multicritical and Lifshits is investigated. The critical dimension for such model is found. It is shown that if dimension of space is equal to the critical dimension then the corresponding model possesses variation scale invariant, and fluctuation correction to the heat-capacity has the same temperature dependence, as well as a heat-capacity without in model without modulation. New exact distributions of order parameters are found in model fi6. Integrability conditions of the variation equations are found in models with the higher gradients and nonlinearities of order parameters. New soliton-like state, describing interaction of a super-power electromagnetic impulse with substance in model of Maxvell - Bloch are found. The field of application: physics of a solid state, the physics of phase transitions
