Based on the study of clinical and laboratory characteristics of the flow and the consequences of infectious mononucleosis the quality of diagnostics of acute and chronic forms of EBV infection in adults were improved. A frequency of infection with the adult population of Poltava region with EBV infection was ascertained, forms of disease and health status were assessed.
