There were worked out theoretical, methodological and applied scientific basis of development of organizational and economic mechanism of wholesale trade, also efficiency of its functioning in market environment; there were proved and discovered the interaction of structural mechanism's elements; there were investigated the interaction of types and forms of wholesale trade in the dissertation work. There were calculated and systematized indexes of condition and development of the activity of wholesale trade enterprises in the state and region; there were estimated in complex the efficiency of functioning of organizational and economic mechanism of wholesale enterprises.
