Lavrov R. The effectiveness of potato production in market conditions

The object of the research - the process of the potato production efficiency management within the market conditions. The aim of the research - scientific generalization of the theoretically-methodological regulations and practical recommendations concerning the increasing of the potato-growing enterprise efficiency within the market conditions. Another aim is the development of the tools for determining the optimal in their size specialized potato-growing enterprises in order to provide their high competitiveness on the domestic potato-growing market. Methods - analysis and synthesis; statistic batching; monographic; calculation-constructive; graphic; correlated-regressive; statistical analysis method; economic-mathematical. Theoretical and practical findings: the theoretical findings give us new theoretical and methodological approaches when solving the problems of the increasing of the potato-growing enterprise efficiency within the market conditions. The practical meaning of the gained findings is determined by the range of the developed recommendations and suggestions concerning the fulfillment of some efficient and strategic tasks on increasing of the efficiency in potato-growing on the specialized agricultural enterprises. The scientific novelty - suggested for the first time: the model of optimization of technologically-organizational factors of increasing the productivity and effectiveness of potato-growing; the methodology of development of the optimal balance of production and usage of potato; improved: the algorithm of optimization of the interregional potato transportation; the calculations of the flow sheets and norms of the expenditures per 1 hectare of potato plantations; were further developed: the methodology of defining the parameters of the optimal in size specialized potato-growing enterprises; theoretical-practical recommendations concerning the determination of the optimal quantity and structure of the auto-tractor at the specialized potato-growing enterprise; methodological approaches to forming the production programme of the agricultural enterprises, taking into a count the operating deficit or overabundant production of potato in some regions. The extent of implementation: the findings of the scientific research concerning the organization of the effective potato-production are used by the Ministry of agricultural policy of Ukraine, Chief administration of the agricultural development of Chernihiv regional state administration, scientific and production association "Chernihivkartoplya", affiliated undertaking "Levona-S", agricultural and farming enterprise "Lavr". The findings are also used in the scientific and educational work in Chernihiv State Institute of Economics and Management. Efficiency: the findings of the research let us determine the conditions of the effective in their size specialized potato-growing enterprises under the conditions of formation and functioning of the potato-growing market.
