Kordoba O. Farms development of suburban zone.

The thesis contains theoretical and methodological grounds and proposals as to the main directions of farms development in suburban zone. On the basis of scientific sources analyses, new approaches are proposed as to farms typification and their (especially) division into dynamic, traditional, stagnant and bankrupt ones depending upon their state and development. It is defined the main tendencies, peculiarities and determinants of farms development in suburban zone; main factors of their effective functioning are established; the system of key factors of farms activity successes is determined. Farms positions and their situations are shown up on the basis of strategic and traditional analysis; SWOT and PREST COM methods; expert and alternative valuation, (assessment) taking into consideration their potential and changes in surroundings. Strategic aims are defined; methodic approaches and strategies of farms development are proposed depending upon their dimensions and position at the market. It is grounded the strategies of diversification of farms activity and expansion of their integration ties.
