Andrejchuk A. Noctuid moths (Noctuidae) on sugar beet crops and their control in the Central Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine

Objects of the investigation are: noctuid moths, plants of sugar beet, modern insecticides, new mixture of insecticides, trichogramma. The aim of the research is to improve of ecologically oriented control of density of Noctuid moths larvas in the Central Forest - Steppe zone of Ukraine with the count of changes in climatic conditions of region and technology of culture cultivation. Used methods are: monitoring, laboratory and vegetative experiments, field experiments, statistical method. Scientific novelty is that it is first research under modern conditions in the Central Forest - Steppe zone of Ukraine of the features of biology, ethology, and also a specific composition of Noctuidae in agrobiocenosis of sugar beet. Were grounded rational methods of application of Trichogramma evanescens Westw. and shown its role in regulating and limiting the number of pests on crops of sugar beet. Effectiveness and prolongivity of toxic action of insecticides for treatment of sugar beet stands against these pests were determined. The branch is agriculture, beet production, plant protection
