Essay

It is shown, that the areas, where polarization characteristics changes rapidly tend to the regions with relatively small intensity gradient independently on the polarization homogeneity of vector field. The relations for the averaged by time components of the Poynting vector were obtained. The fundamental possibility of the measurement of the magnitudes of Poynting vector components is demonstrated on the base of local data obtained by the technologies of Stocks-polarimety and interferometry. The behaviors of the Poynting vector were considered.
