The thesis is devoted to study and searching theoretical and practical approaches as for improvement of pigs of the Myrhorod breed by the methods of thoroughbred breeding. Received data by determination appropriateness of growth and development of young pigs of various variants of interbreed selection, comparative estimation of animals by own productivity with the usage of index selection and classic methods.
