Titko I. Normative Content of Evaluative Notions in Criminal Procedure Law of Ukraine.

This dissertation studies theoretical and practical issues related to the use of the evaluative notions within the text of the criminal procedure law. The author has looked at the content of the evaluative notions, the frequency of their use in the criminal procedure legislation in the countries with different legal systems, the peculiarities of how they express themselves in the text of the law, classification and functions of the evaluative notions in the criminal litigation. The paper analyses the specifics of interpretation and usage of the criminal procedure provisions that contain evaluative notions, highlights the existing problems and suggests ways to solve them. The paper also suggests the ways to improve a number of present criminal procedure institutes where the use of the evaluative notions causes difficulties.
