The object - reinforced masonry under the local compressive loadіng; the purpose - improvement of methods of calculation of the reinforced masonry elements under the local compressive loadіng; the methods - are mechanics of solid body, variable method of theory plasticity, experimental, mathematical statistics; the novelty - the problem of definition of reinforced elements' ultimate load under central and corner one-sided local compressive loading in consideration of mode of failure, relation of the length of a load site to the height of an element, both reinforced characteristics of masonry: by compression and extension, quantity and character of steel reinforcement net location by the element's height and conditions on the supporting surfaces was solved; as a result - the problem of definition of reinforced elements' ultimate load was solved; the influence of determining factor on strength was defined; the results have been inculcated in the strength assessment, engineering and building reinforced masonry elements under the local compressive loadіng; the branch of application is construction.
