Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the study of poetics of F. Poulenc's chamber-vocal lyrics. The composer's legasy analisys made it possible to propound a new devision into periods of his creative work. It also revealed the main principles of the vocal miniatures cycle devision, the points of reliance on the French music tradition connected with the national chanson development. Modern poetry opened great vistas for F. Poulenc as to realization of his creative potential.
