Dissertation is devoted to the research of innovative process from the position of marketing of innovation development in the activity of meat processing enterprises. The role of innovation is defined, possible directions of its development are considered, and the possibility of research of innovative process in the activity of enterprise from the position of marketing research is scientifically grounded. The mechanism of development of innovations is considered from positions of system and spatial diffusion, that allows to solve the problem of recreation of innovations at an enterprise, beginning from an idea of creating innovations, introducing it in a production, launching the product into the market and again to scientific developments at higher technical level. The algorithm of innovative prognostication is offered and the application of the proper methods of prognostication on the separate stages of innovative process is recommended. Problems related to innovative activity of meat processing enterprises are analysed and the market of sausage goods from position of prospects of development of separate segments is considered. The method of prognostication of innovative process in the activity of meat processing enterprises from positions of marketing of innovations development is developed. The important components of this method are the determination of innovative position of separate meat processing enterprise at the market of sausage goods taking into account the prognosis of this market and innovative environment and choice of perspective segment of sausage goods development in the assortment brief-case of meat processing enterprise in according to its strategic aims. The sequence of organizational activities with introduction of process and food types innovations in the production according to aims of enterprise, its potential possibilities, changes of external environment, prognosis of development of market segments of sausage goods is offered.
