Essay

The experimental study has revealed that the NaF supplemented ration has a toxic effect in rats with the acidotic model of periodontosis. Introduction of vitamins A, C, D and Namatsyt along with NaF has a makred antiacidotic and antiperoxidic effect on the alveolar bone maximally reducing resorption rate. Clinical and biochemical findings show that patients with generalized periodontitis develop disorders of metabolic regulation of acid-base balance and lipid peroxidation as well as disorders of mineral and nitric oxide. Differential aplication of Vitaftor and its combination with Namatsyt in complex treatment of generalized periodontitis stage I-II results in elimination of inflamation in the periodontium.
