The dissertation is dedicated to the thorough investigation of the issue of the implementation of ecological security requirements in the process of land privatization in Ukraine: their legal characters, peculiarities, functions and types of the above requirements, the spesial feature of legal regulation in the sphere of their implementation and also the legal responsibility for the violation of these requirements. Within this dissertation we determine the peculiarities of the requirements of ecological security which are to be implemented in the process of land privatization in Ukraine as a law category and provide the legal definition.
