Essay

The problem of the formation and development of family law in the Republic of Poland in 1918 – 1939 is considered in the thesis. The main institutions of family law such as marriage, divorce, separation, personal non-property and property rights and duties of the conjoints, parents and children are characterized according to the standard acts in force. The peculiarities of effecting a marriage and divorce, avoidance of a marriage depending on the denomination of the conjoints are revealed, contracting a marriage; the rights and duties of the parents and children that appeared from the marital and extra-marital relations.
