Ryhina O. The Supreme Court of USA: becoming, features of competence and role in formation of the state constitutional system (1787 – the end of the XX c.).

On the ground of the study of the Constitution of USA, federal laws, decisions of the Supreme court of USA, scientific literature, setting-up of the Supreme court of USA, its competence are analyzed as well as its leading effect on formation of the constitutional system of the state are defined in the dissertation. Place of the Supreme court in the system of public authorities is ascertained. Advantages of organization of the legal system of USA, appointment of federal judges, separate drawbacks of the legal regulation are revealed. According to results of the conducted study, application of separate experience of USA in the course of reformation of a modern legal system of Ukraine is offered.
