Recommendations regarding prevention and correction of corneal astigmatism at phaco-trabeculotomy (PTT) have been proposed. It has been established that in 32,1% of patients corneal astigmatism of ?1,0 diopters is combined with cataract, and in 19,7% - with cataract and glaucoma. At PTT with an operative incision in the vertical meridian surgically-induced corneal astigmatism of against-the-rule type of 1,13±0,22D (Р<0,05) is developed. Total refraction effect at PTT with nasal tunnel is 0,92±0,07D (Р<0,05), at PTT with temporal tunnel - 0,44±0,05D (Р>0,05), at PTT with opposite clear corneal incisions - 1,91±0,17D (Р<0,05). Implantation of a toric IOL at PTT using the developed method of cornea marking (Declaration patent of Ukraine No.14631 UA A61F 9/013) causes reduction in the cylindrical refraction component by 1,49D (Р<0,05) given a stable degree of corneal astigmatism (Р>0,05).
