Essay

The dissertation has been devoted to a system research of the institute of a legal responsibility. The concepts, essence, content, general characteristics of the legal responsibility are considered and analyzed; the process of formation of the legal responsibility as a protective institute of the state is researched. Especially, it is determined that the negative consequences of a committed violation of the law, arise of which is guaranteed by a possibility to apply the measures of legal coercion to a guilty person, should be understood under the category “legal responsibility”.
