Essay

The thesis is devoted to synthesis of new layered molybdenum and tungsten dichalcogenides nanostructures (2H -Ch2, M = Mo, W; Ch = S, Se) with extremely small sizes of nanoparticles ( 1 nm); investigation of their structural and structural-sensitive chemical properties (topochemical reactions of intercalation by molecular hydrogen, oxidation on the air, tribochemical properties) and establishing of their connections and also with physico-chemical characteristics of nanosynthesis. For the first time it was synthesized the layered 2H-MCh2, homogeneous by chemical composition, structural type (2Н-MoS2) and kind of nanostructures ("ultrathin nanosheets", "inorganic graphene-like nanoparticles"), average sizes of anisotropic nanoparticles of which in [013] and [110] crystallographic direction are: 2Н-MoS2 - d[013]=2.7(2)-4.7(2) nm, d[110]=8.5(4)-53(3) nm, 2Н-WS2 - d[013]=2.7(2)-75(5) nm, d[110]=7.9(4)-123(8) nm, 2H-МоSе2 - d[013]=4.8(3)-44(3) nm, d[110]=17.9(1.1)-50(3) nm, 2Н-WSе2 - d[013]=4.5(3)-41(2.5) nm, d[110]=18.7(1.2)-82(5) nm; new hydrogen intercalated nanophases HхМоS2 (0 х 0.45; d[013]=3.4(2)-3.9(3) nm, d[110]=10.5(6)-11.2(7) nm) and HхWS2 (0 х 1.55; d[013]=4.8(3)-15(1) nm, d[110]=13.1(8)-29(2) nm).
