Lytvyn K. The clinical and diagnostic significance of orosomucoid for icteric forms of viral hepatitis

The dissertation presents the theoretical generalization and new solution of scientific task which consist of improvement of the diagnosis and prediction of the course of viral hepatitis, of development of new criteria to determine the probability of icterus of tumour genesis for patients with cholestasis on a basis of determination of content of orosomucoid and its glycoforms in blood serum. 181 patients having the icteric forms of acute viral hepatitis, chronic viral hepatitis, hepar cirrhosis and neoplasms which led to icterus, were examined. The dependance of orosomucoid content from ethiology, course variations and severety degree of viral hepatitis was pointed out. The correlation between orosomucoid content, receptor antagonist IL-1, interleukin 6 and medium molecules was investigated. The major diagnostic criteria were stated for differential diagnostics of cholestasis of the icteric and tumour genesis, among which there were orosomucoid content and its glycoforms correlations.
