The dissertation first investigates the most important statistical sources on the history of Sloboda Ukraine Cossack Officials - "Yearly lists" (1757-1764), "Nominal lists" (1765), "Registers of Cossack Officials' children" (1765-1766) and "Registers of Cossack Officials and their children" (1766-1767). On the basis of complex study it is found out the number, the structure, the personal, social and ethnical composition, the age data and the educational characteristics of the Cossack Officials. Specialties of making a career and mental concepts of Cossack Officials are also researched.
