Essay

The thesis contains a historical and philosophical investigation of an important for the contemporary Ukrainian society problem of an ethic ideal in the works by T.G. Shevchenko, the founder of the Ukrainian national idea. In the thesis the ethic aspect of the artist's views at the society and nation is interpreted; one of the basic factors for the T. Shevchenko's concept of the ideal social order - the concept of truth-justice - is defined. This concept is characterized by the pronounced moral connotation and special semantic connection between truth, righteousness, justice and life of people, social groups and nations.
