Object. Collection "Dramatic Etudes. Book IV" and "Night on polonyna" (1941) by A.Oles', early plays of W.B.Yeats (1886-1903), poetry. Aim. To research the nature and the manifestation of the interaction of genre elements, lyric and dramatic, and determine predominant element in A.Oles's and W. B. Yeats's plays. Practical significance: is in following researches of A.Oles's and W. B. Yeats's works, phenomenon "lyrization", generic formation "lyric drama", for norm and special course of History of Ukrainian, Foreign Literatures. Methods: biographical, cultural-historical, comparative-typological, formal, and contextual.
