The investigation object is sperm production subject to the breed, chronological age, temperament, freezing and thawing method, anti-oxidant supplement. The aim of the investigation is to study reproductive traits and the stallion semen fitness for freezing preservation subject to the breed, chronological age and temperament. The investigation methods include freezing biological, bio-chemical, economic, statistical analysis and zoo-technical, hematological procedures. The investigation results novelty. For the first time complex analysis was fulfilled on reproductive traits of Ukrainian native roadster, trotter and draft stallions. For the first time the stallion semen fitness was researched for freezing preservation and sperm use during artificial insemination (AI) procedures. For the first time the enzyme activity was studied in the system of anti-oxidant stallion protection. Practical significance. The investigation results were applied by 'Horses. artificial insemination of the mares. Typical process' UOS project elaboration. The method use for freezing resistance improvement of the stallion semen proved to up the ejaculate number fit for freezing preservation per 17,15 %.
