Gevorkyan A. The adaptation of machine building enterprises to the conditions of WTO

Object of investigation: the processes of adaptation of Ukrainian machine building enterprises to their functioning under conditions of the WTO. Purpose of investigation: the development of scientific and methodical means of competitiveness management of machine building enterprises in the process of their adaptation to the conditions of the World Trade Organization. Methods of investigation and apparatus: theoretical generalization and comparison for more precise scientific determinations of enterprise adaptation categories and competitiveness of enterprises; economical and multidimentional statistical analysis for their improvement of the methods of enterprise competitiveness analysis, cluster analysis for the determination of enterprise groups which are uniform as to the level of their preparation for the conditions of the WTO; comparative analysis for revealing primary directions of economical reforms; correlation analysis and factor analysis for the determination of the system of generalizing indices for observing the state of enterprise competitiveness and for the systematization of enterprises into uniform groups according to the developed system of indices. Theoretical and practical results: the use of the methodical approach by enterprises to increase competitiveness will allow them to adapt to the conditions of the WTO; the application of the methods of enterprise competitiveness analysis will allow to make administrative decisions based on the system of indices which contributes to observing the state of enterprise competitiveness with consideration for peculiarities of the process of adaptation to the conditions of the WTO; the realization of the methodical means of the determination of priority directions of economical reforms for adaptation for the work under conditions of the WTO will allow them to provide the successive increase in their own competitiveness. Novelty: there have been improved the methodical principles for increasing enterprise competitiveness which, compared with existing practice, allow to give recommendations for the development of the strategy of machine building enterprise adaptation to the conditions of the WTO according to the membership of the enterprise in one of the revealed uniform groups; there have been improved the methodical approaches to the determination of the most important directions of adaptive process realization under the conditions of the WTO, which directions, unlike existing ones, significantly take into consideration the specific conditions and working order of domestic machine building enterprises based proposed differential approach; there have been improved the methodical means for analysis of enterprise competitiveness indices which provides a possibility to determine the ways and priorities of their adaptation to the conditions of the WTO.
