Yakimenko K. European Union: the Legal Nature of the Union

The dissertation is devoted to the research of the evolution of the processes and factors of European integration. The legal nature of European Union and modern approaches in understanding of supranational organization of powers are specified, author's determination of this notion is offered. The correlation of notions "state sovereignty" and "supranational organization of powers" on the base of EU and the manifestation of supranational features in the decision making process within the framework of European Union are analysed. The scientific conclusions directed on determination of specifics of the legal nature of the European Union as supranational organization of powers are formulated, so that allows to value that problems, costing before states which striving to be integrated to EU.
