Research object. Process of government control as mean of creation of national competitive edges. Research purpose. Ground of maintenance and directions of improvement of government control of sphere of tourist services as strategies of forming of modern national competitive edges. Research methods. Unity logical and historical, SWOT-analysis, analysis and synthesis, statistical supervisions, analysis of the systems, comparative analysis, expert estimations. The practical value of the results of dissertation research got an author consists in deepening of scientific pictures of modern imperatives of government control of economy as strategies of forming of national competitive edges, development of industry of tourist services as perspective for a national economy in the context of world structural changes in a postindustrial epoch, models of government control of sphere of tourist services. Scientific novelty. It is first proved that maintenance of government control in the conditions of primata of world economic processes above national consists in forming of strategy of national competitive edges, which must come forward in form national marketing policy of the permanent long-term system of measures on an assistance determination, satisfaction and creation of demand on services of national firms in the world market. The matrix of models of government control of industry of tourism is formed on maintenance mechanisms of adjusting with the selection of terms of their realization and risks of models. It is proved that models of government control of industry of tourist services must be the historically conditioned stages of his development.
