Semenenko I. The effect of the results of innovation activity on the economic sustainability of an enterprise

The work describes the determination of the effect of the results of innovation activity on the economic sustainability of an enterprise. Present backgrounds of enterprises' transition to support of economic sustainability on the basis of innovation activity have been examined. The results of innovation activity as the main factor of enterprise economic sustainability support have been defined. Existing approaches to the definition of the essence of enterprise economic sustainability have been analyzed, and the "enterprise economic sustainability" definition has been specified. On the basis of the identification and structurization of the results of innovation activity and evaluation of their influence on the elements of economic sustainability, the results of the innovation activity have been vindicated to be the main condition of enterprise economic sustainability support. Existing approaches toward economic sustainability structuring and evaluation have been analyzed and the evaluation of the economic sustainability of the machine-building enterprises has been improved. The method of enterprise economic sustainability support has been improved by means of defining a correspondence between enterprise abilities and organizational-technical and resource demands of innovation activity. The model of prognostication of industrial enterprise economic sustainability under the change of its costs on innovation activity has been developed. The change of economic sustainability individual indicators and enlarged structure components as a consequence of innovation activity has been evaluated using the integral method of factor analysis and correlation-regression analysis correspondingly. This allowed the evaluation of quantitative effect of the results of innovation activity on enterprise economic sustainability. The developed recommendations concerning defining the results of innovation activity on the economic sustainability have been used in machine-building enterprises' activity.
