Essay

The complex of memoir sources about the history of the Ukrainian national movement during and after the World War II is investigated in the Thesis. The author, genre and thematic structure of the complex as a whole is described under the memoir works source analysis; the influence of the author peculiarities on the contents of the reminiscence is explicated. Their value as a source for studies of the Ukrainian national movement is assessed by way of example of certain memoir works analysis. Thematic movements are defined, and when they are under study, memoirs can enlighten certain questions.
