Makhayeva O. Issue and Usage of Electronic Money in Ukraine

It is researched the transformation of the essence, nature and forms of money at the present period of time, specified the essence and economic nature of electronic money, their difference from the other means of payment, analyzed the main types of electronic money and classes of the electronic money systems. It is identified the main directions of improvement of issue and usage of electronic money in Ukraine, it is created the terminology which is concerned issue and usage of electronic money, the propositions on regulation issue electronic money by banks and non-banking financial institution and usage of electronic money as well. It is exposed the peculiarities of the risks which are connected with the electronic money systems and their main factors also, developed the methodological recommendations for risk management of the electronic money systems and for electronic money systems oversight by the central bank at its main stages.
