Zaharova G. Pathogeny, prophylaxis and treatment of occlusal disorders for persons with the loss of first permanent molars

Dissertation is devoted the grounding of rehabilitation of patients with the consequences of loss of first permanent molars taking into account found out the structurally functional changes of maxillofacial system. It is set the complex of modern clinical and laboratory researches, that the loss of first permanent molars results in development of maxillofacial deformations, disorders of occlusal correlations of dental rows, change of function of temporo-mandibular joints and masticatory muscles on a background occlusal pathology, which reduce efficiency of giving prosthodontics treatment. The expressed of complications is in direct dependence on the amount of remote first molars and remotenesses of their loss. It is proved that proceeding in the functional state of maxillofacial system is provided normalization of structure of occlusal surface and correlations of dental rows, which must precede prosthodontic treatment and can be carried out by selective grinding and orthodontics correction of position of teeth, and also application of occlusal splints.
