Thesis is devoted to criminological characteristic of personality of the criminal who committed sexual crime against minor. The paper sets forth new theories, specifies meaning of certain concepts being of importance for science and practice, as well as for improvement of ways of prevention of sexual crimes against minors. The paper analyzes reasons and prerequisites of sexual crimes against minors, as well as victimologic aspects of behavior of minor victim of sexual crimes. Special attention was paid to personality of the criminal who committed sexual crime against minor. It was confirmed that personality of the criminal who committed sexual crime against minor usually has complex of arbitrary behavior and illusions. Special attention was also paid to aspects to be taken into account when developing ways of prevention of sexual crimes against minors. The paper researches typology of personality of the criminal committing sexual crimes against minors and its significance for special criminological prevention.
